Here’s a little riff-ica,
about my home, Pacifica
And it’s residents famous-ica,
Though it’s just a partial list-ica:
Keith Hernandez, future hall of famer
Played little league in Linda Mar,
and learned to play the game here
Debbie Durst is from Pacifica,
And her hubby Will Durst too
He’s got a show on Air America,
With Willie Brown, it’s true!
Rob Schneider came from here,
he’s got a lot of fans
When the schools had no more music he said
“you can do it man!”
Tom Jackson makes cartoons,
Jef Raskin made the Apple
Vicente Franco made a movie,
Henry McCloskey made a castle
The artist once again known as Prince
…not from here
But we’ve got a Prince of Palindromes
and a Crab King at the pier
Pacifican Norwin Meneses,
was a drug trade mastermind
Portola stopped to take a leak
and this is what he find:

Pacifica, so terrific-a,
Where the ocean meets the cliff-ica,
Where air is sweet to sniff-ica,
and water clean to sip-ica
(At least before they switched to Cloramine)
So eat your crab dip-ica,
and mix your eggnog stiff-ica
and smoke a homegrown spliff-ica
and have a happy happy Hanukka
and Christmas-ica,
in Pacifica!
