I’m heading out soon on my own little surfin’ safari
I’m sleeping in late and then I’m going second thing tamari I’m walking there in my flip flops It’s really not very far The South end of the beach at Linda Mar I’ll stop in at the surf shop and rent myself a soft top board Because it’s easy to learn on and all that I can afford And even if it hits me in the head It won’t even leave a scar At the South end of the beach at Linda Mar I’m not ready for - Rah Rah Rockaway Beach, (Rockaway Beach) Not ready for Mori’s Point (Mori’s Point) Not ready for Trailer Parks (Trailer Parks) I’m sticking to the bunny slope at Linda Mar (Linda Mar) Not ready for Mavericks’ (Maverick’s) Don’t even think about it At the South end of the beach…at Linda Mar Well the waves are really small so I don’t have to be in shape And everyone’s a novice so everybody can relate We’ll watch the real surfers Showing off from afar At the North end of the beach at Linda Mar (solo over verse) So if you wanna take it easy then I’ll see you in the parking lot Of the sweetest little beach with the easiest surfing spot We’ll catch a couple kiddie waves To brag about in the bar At the South end of the beach at Linda Mar |
